As you can see, I have a bit of a thing for the Curvy Corner Trio Punch. I just love how it gives that pretty effect when you punch and flip the corners. I think it looks darling with the doily in the background. I think this will have to be one of my favourite cards at the moment and am thinking of sticking it on my inspiration wall for a while.

 A pretty girly card for my pretty girly niece. I really love glimmer paper, all that sparkle just screams girly to me and it is so much cleaner than using glue and glitter.

A very masculine card this week, I think the colours lent themselves to it. I really liked the way the button is tied onto the card, an idea I found on Pinterest here. I thought is was a great idea for the masculine card as bows can look a bit feminine and knots can get a little bulky.

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop #70

Another birthday card this week:

 I really like how using Vellum for the top layer still allows the bottom layer of DSP to show through. You don't lose the effect of the DSP but it gives it a little bit of softness and also means that the sentiment does not get lost in the business of the DSP. Using Washi Tape on the edges of the Vellum gives it some definition.
