The Artful Stampers Blog Hop #69

I must admit that I did find this quite a challenge as I have never done a monochromatic card before. However, I am very happy with the outcome and love the natural look that I think I achieved.

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop #25



Welcome from Annette's blog and to Colour Combo #13

Its a colour rainbow this week and I really did have a lot of fun with it.

I used sponged daubers on shimmery white paper  this week to create a rainbow, then I cut it out with the largest Butterflies Thinlits Die . I love the effect that was created (not that you can see the subtle shimmer in this photo). Also, I don't know if it is cheating or not, but I used a couple of extra neutral colours for the picket fence.

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge #16

Sketch challenge again this week.


This was a card that I have made before but it fitted perfectly with the sketch and I love the masculine look, so I remade it and did alter it a bit to the original. It will be perfect for my father-in-law's birthday. It really is a fun card to make and was quite quick as well. The finished card size is 4 3/4" x 5" so is a different size and will require a hand made envelope using the Envelope Punchboard.
