This week we have a very interesting and some what challenging Theme Challenge of Faux Wax Seal
Although this was quite a different challenge this week, it really was a lot of fun. Firstly I had to learn how to make a faux wax seal. I checked out Shelly's blog post and also did a search on Youtube, you can check out the technique I ended up using here. The next challenge I faced was how to incorporate it into my card. I was looking through the embellishments that I received from the annual catalogue share and saw the new 2015-17 in colour doilies and thought they would make the perfect background for my seal. It then kind of morphed from there. I really love the Serene Scenery DSPS and how textured the papers look. This is definitely a technique that I will use again.
