Today is the first installment of Treasure Tuesday. So I thought I would start off with showing you a very special treasure. My Royal Albert Tea Set called "Kentish Rockery".
The Tea set given to me by my Grandma. I think the story goes that my Grandpa actually bought it near the end of world war 2 as a wedding gift for my Grandma with saved up ration stamps. So that is why it is very special to me. She gave it to me because I helped her pack it when she moved house when I was only eight and that meant a lot to her. I think that she knew that I had always liked it. It consists of 6 tea cups and saucers, 6 side plates, 1 cake platter and a sugar bowl & milk jug. It is proudly displayed on the top shelf of my display cabinet which has a cottage theme.
I hope you enjoy a peak at my treasure. 8o)

Having spent a lot ot time researching my family tree I regret not having a piece of china that was my nans. After she died my aunt got rid of everything. Look after your precious treasure and its memories.
